A full eye exam begins with a neuro-ophthalmic assessment of vision, and includes a thorough evaluation of the structure and function of your pet’s eyes.
Examinations are performed in our specialty-equipped exam rooms, utilizing slit lamp biomicroscopy, and direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy.
Routine diagnostic testing includes:
Schirmer Tear Testing
Vital staining of the eye
Tonometry (glaucoma test)
Sedated examinations may be performed when necessary.
