Referring one of your patients to a specialist should have as little impact on your workflow as possible. That is why we offer same day appointments and around the clock ophthalmic emergency coverage. To refer a case to AVCSC, simply fill out the referral form and submit it to us by email or fax.

We understand. Just give us a phone call with the patient’s name and information and we’ll take it from there, so you don’t get held up.
Phone Consultation
We realize not every client is willing to be referred to a specialist. Please feel free to call Dr. McNabb to discuss any of your ophthalmic cases, day or night.
Communication
We recognize that patients receive the best care and the clients are best served, when the referring primary care veterinarian and veterinary specialist work collaboratively. AVCSC is committed to facilitating this collaboration by timely, detailed and consistent communication. Following each new referral, you will receive a phone call to discuss the pet’s eye condition and treatment recommendations provided to the client. We will also send you a referral report within 24 hours of the patient’s examination by way of your preferred method: email, fax or mail.
