Animal Vision Care & Surgical Center

Due to the growing concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Animal Vision Care & Surgical Center will be taking precautionary measures to keep our clients and medical team safe while continuing to provide essential care to your beloved pets. Only the clinic team will be permitted inside our building when you receive curbside service while waiting inside your vehicle.

When you arrive, please check in by calling the hospital at 818-501-5155 and indicate where you and your pet will be located and verify your e-mail address. You may pull up to the curb on Ventura Boulevard, or up to the alleyway adjacent to the rear entrance of the CVS (our business sign on the pole also signals the alleyway).

A team member will meet you at your vehicle to collect your pet and bring them inside the clinic. Please attach a leash to your pet before opening the door to your vehicle.

While you remain in your vehicle, we will contact you via phone or FaceTime (iPhone users) if you prefer, to obtain a medical history and/or update on your pet. Please have a list of your pet’s medication with you so that we can discuss his or her current medication schedule. It will also be helpful to know how much of the medication you have at home, whether it be a 1/4 tube or 1/2 a bottle, or 3 pills left, etc.

The doctor will examine your pet, discuss her medical findings and treatment plans with you over the phone or FaceTime, so you are present start to finish.

A team member will e-mail the discharge care instructions to you, and then call you to review the instructions over the phone.

When your pet is ready to go home, a team member will bring your pet to your vehicle and we will help you checkout from your vehicle. You may pay by using credit card, debit card, CareCredit or cash, all from the comfort of your vehicle.

For clients picking up medication refills, please call the clinic when you arrive and let us know where you are parked. We will process your payment over the phone and a team member will bring your medication out to you.

Thank you for your patience and we appreciate your understanding during this time of transition. Together, we will get through this!
